We bring affordable care, sound research and practical health programmes to marginalised and underserved communities across India, in line with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.
Meeyam Health Foundation is a not-for-profit company incorporated under Section 8 of the Companies Act, 2013. Our work spans clinical care, public health research, nutrition, occupational health and community well-being.
Every rupee we receive is applied to these objects. No part of our income or property is ever paid to members as dividend or profit, and our accounts are audited every year.
These are the objects set out in our Memorandum of Association. Numbers follow the clause order.
Healthcare delivery, maternal and child health, and well-being for all ages, with affordable treatment, preventive care and awareness for vulnerable and underserved people.
Charitable hospitals, diagnostic centres, primary care clinics, public health laboratories and mobile health units, run on a not-for-profit basis.
Epidemiological studies, health-systems evaluation and policy briefs that address structural gaps and strengthen emergency response.
Working with central, state and municipal bodies and international agencies on evidence-based policy, and supporting National Health Missions, emergency medical services and primary care networks.
Nutritional surveys, dietary assessments and malnutrition audits, followed by low-cost, scalable interventions that are tested before they are rolled out.
Programmes on respiratory health, ergonomic hazards and lifestyle disease for factory workers, industrial labourers and migrant workforces in manufacturing hubs.
Mental health awareness, substance-use programmes, environmental health surveillance, emergency care and the wide promotion of health literacy.
Health depends on income, food, education, water and a safe environment. Our programmes contribute to 14 of the United Nations' 17 Sustainable Development Goals, with SDG 3 at the centre.
Our core goal: maternal and child health, preventive care, mental health, emergency care and stronger health systems, with affordable treatment for people who are left out.
Free and low-cost care for families who cannot pay, so illness does not push them deeper into poverty.
Nutrition surveys, dietary assessments and malnutrition audits, followed by low-cost food and nutrition interventions.
Health literacy, training for health workers, and educational and vocational guidance for young people.
Maternal health services and programmes that give women and girls equal access to care and to health decisions.

Slum health and urban health programmes, working alongside municipal authorities.
Preparing communities and health services for heat waves, floods and other climate-driven health emergencies.
A One Health approach to water pollution that harms both aquatic life and the people who depend on rivers and coasts.
One Health work linking human, animal and environmental health, including the prevention of diseases that pass from animals to people.
Working with government, international agencies, academic institutions, NGOs, CBOs and civil society to deliver at scale.
Our field work begins in Punjab, where the Foundation is registered and where our first health materials are published in Punjabi. Our Memorandum of Association allows us to work anywhere in India, and we take programmes to other states with local partners.
Surveys, audits and studies in the communities we serve, so every programme starts from local data.
We work alongside government, academic institutions, NGOs, CBOs and civil society, in India and abroad.
Workshops, seminars and training for communities, health workers and policy makers, backed by a resource centre of health materials.
Clear, local-language materials that help people act quickly and correctly. They are free for health workers, schools, panchayats and partner organisations to print and share.

Our Memorandum of Association sets firm rules on how the Foundation's money and property may be used.
All profits, income and property are applied solely to the Foundation's objects. Nothing is distributed to members.
True accounts are kept of all money received and spent, and examined at least once a year by qualified auditors.
If the Foundation is ever wound up, remaining assets pass to another organisation with similar objects, never to members.
Government departments, hospitals, CSR teams and research institutions can collaborate on programmes, studies and health camps.
Doctors, public health graduates, nutritionists and students can join field surveys, awareness drives and research.
Grants and donations fund care for people who cannot pay. Write to us for details of how to give.
